Diana Wilcock Pcso 5117 The Parish Council warmly welcomes Janet Mason to the Council
Janet can be contacted by email at alantuc7@aol.co.uk You are all welcome to the Farmers market every 2nd Monday of the month over at J36 Rural Auction Centre, Crooklands.
We are running a special Xmas Market along with a Charity Carol Concert on Monday 9th December. Further information from Natalie 07704766190 This great organisation has sadly drawn it’s last breath. For generations the committee organised many key and very popular social gatherings so vital to rural communities like ours. Times change and so do the needs of the community with the focus now upon the parish hall and school, which are so vital to our heritage and fabric, the sports committee no longer has the support that it once enjoyed. However, the youth club is a marvellous and very successful spin off from the Sports Committee and after 8 years is a thriving group providing a place for our 20+ young people to meet and enjoy activities together.
The Sports Committee records will go to the Cumbria County Council Archive. If anyone out there has any information which is of interest please can you call 52186 and we’ll arrange to have it put into safe keeping. Thank you Steph Fry Agenda Nov 13
