The Parish owns several plots of land and we’d like help in deciding what to do with them.
The plots vary in size from almost dining table proportions to as much as 1.75 acres and we have a responsibility to maintain them, as well as provide insurance against potential liabilities. In other words, they have a cost, but not any real income. The attached maps and schedule give some explanatory location and Land Registry detail for the individual parcels.
They are all part of the Parish and have either a historical value or potential for wildlife encouragement, or both. In some cases, neighbouring land owners may be interested in purchasing plots.
All in all there’s an obligation to do something useful with the land as well as maximise any realisable value and that’s where the Parish Council would really like to hear people’s views.
