A new Councillor joined the Parish at the July meeting — Cllr Brian Wilson from Meathop. Brian is a Professor at the School of Computer Science at the University of Cardiff. We want to wish Brian the warmest welcome to the Parish Council.

The wildlife support officer for the South Lakes area has been receiving reports of suspicious activity and possible lamping in the Witherslack area.If there are any lights seen at night moving around on their land or any suspicious people or vehicles late at night/early morning please can they report it to the police on 101. It can be done anonymously if they don’t wish to leave any contact details.
