St Paul's Church
St Pauls is a delightful little church here in Witherslack which remains open for visitors everyday. As a result of a legacy from John Barwick, a Witherslack man, who became Dean of St. Paul’s in 1662, the church was built. It is a fine example of a mid-seventeenth century village church, with the later additions of pews and organ.
There is a service every Sunday alternating between mornings and evenings and generally we follow the monthly pattern of services below, but there are occasional variations. Any special services will be posted on here to keep you up to date. Our parish priest is Rev'd. Michael Woodcock, who is the person to contact about special services and any personal concerns (015395 68276) or email [email protected] |
