Gardening courses available to book now
As another season tentatively approaches, we're getting the nursery ready to open its gates from mid-February. The autumn/winter has been an industrious one, extending our growing area with another tunnel to improve the conditions for our shade loving plants and make use of our new irrigation system.
Most jobs over the past few months have involved preparing both the garden areas and potted plants for this year. Mulching (whilst tentatively avoiding the shoots of tulips) has been order of the day recently. The first phase of potting begins in a couple of weeks and will continue until mid-summer.

This year we are thrilled to welcome back Dr Phil Lusby from the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh who led a fabulous day last year and also to have Carmen working her magic using seasonal cut flowers.
We only have limited spaces on our courses so we'd recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
