They successfully bred at the site for the first time in Summer last year and raised three healthy chicks. With luck, they will breed again this year! Cumbria Wildlife Trust is working hard to give them the safe haven they need after their long flight from West Africa.
You can visit Foulshaw Moss Nature Reserve for free. Work to install board walks is ongoing but visitors can get to the raised viewing platform and enjoy stunning views whilst getting closer to nature.
