In July young people in South Lakeland and Eden are being invited to join in with some musical jamming, during a short series of workshops set up in partnership by Kendal Calling, MusicLinks and Witherslack Monkey Business. The workshops have been funded by Arts Council England.
If you are interested in making music and would like to come with us to Kendal Calling on Friday 1st of August to jam with artists performing there, and to watch some great bands, then we would love for you to join us for the workshops.

The workshops will be held in Witherslack on Saturday mornings between 10.30am and 12.30pm on 5th, 12th and 19th July in the Village Hall.
Numbers are limited, so if you would like to come along please let Steph (015395 52387/52186 or 0787 657 6874) know as soon as possible. We will allocate places on a 'first come first serve' basis. You must be between 8 and 16 years old and preferably been attending Witherslack Monkey Business Youth Club.
We hope you can make it along. The workshops will cover rhythm work, singing, improvisation, and some electronic stuff too. If you play an instrument you are welcome to bring it along. The workshops are free, as is the day out to Kendal Calling Festival.
