![]() The opening of the new Bay Cycleway takes place between 11 and 14 June - (see here for details) and the riders will be stopping briefly in Witherslack outside the shop/pub on Saturday 13 June at around 10.30am. ![]() Come and enjoy an afternoon at Holme Crag, Witherslack. Beautiful gardens as featured in Gardens of the Lake District, by Tim Longville. There will be something fro everyone - delicious refreshments, various stalls, a fantastic raffle and children's entertainment. Entrance fee is £3.50, which includes a cup of tea and cream scone. Latterbarrow Nature Reserve. Tuesday 7 April - 9:30am - 4:00pm Join WT at this varied nature reserve, helping with a number of tasks including bramble cutting and some tree removal and brash burning. This work, when combined with summer grazing, will help to improve the area of limestone grassland and benefit important butterfly and wildflower species.

![]() In July young people in South Lakeland and Eden are being invited to join in with some musical jamming, during a short series of workshops set up in partnership by Kendal Calling, MusicLinks and Witherslack Monkey Business. The workshops have been funded by Arts Council England. If you are interested in making music and would like to come with us to Kendal Calling on Friday 1st of August to jam with artists performing there, and to watch some great bands, then we would love for you to join us for the workshops. |
